My biggest tips for interns (as someone who went from intern to full-time at Lowe’s): ?? Be Proactive ?? Be Willing to Learn ?? Be Open to Feedback “This stage of your career is all about personal and professional growth. Being proactive, willing to learn, and open to feedback during this time will help you to understand your strengths, weaknesses, and will allow you to find the room for improvement.” - Nathan L., Packaging Design Coordinator

“It may sound a bit cliché, but the reason we have 17 associates who have been here since the store opened 20 years ago and 10 associates who have been here 15+ years is because we treat each other like family. I believe when things go right, you look out the window to your people. When things go wrong, you look in the mirror. I know I am nothing without my team and I always keep that in perspective. We have so much fun together, yet we hold each other accountable to do what’s best for each other. It is not often you work with a team that cares so deeply — not only for the company, but more importantly, each other. I am accountable to them, and they know it.” - James D., Store Manager #LowesLife

Our hearts go out to our neighbors who were impacted by the tragedy in the Texas Hill Country. In the wake of the devastation, Lowe’s pledged $500,000 to help our neighbors that need it the most right now. The donation will support Lowe’s nonprofit partners and first responders as they work to address urgent needs and recovery efforts. Lowe’s associates in the area will continue to work alongside local officials to distribute much-needed relief supplies.

“Through the 23 years working here, I still remember the moment that taught me a profound life lesson — it is essential to make that extra effort to help others, as what may appear trivial to some can be life-changing for another. We were closing one night, and a customer I worked with called the store—she lost her tablet that day. I said I’d search for it immediately. While my initial instinct was to check inside, I also donned my coat (despite the frigid weather) and went to the parking lot, where I found her tablet in a shopping cart. The following day, she returned and embraced me, overwhelmed with gratitude. She expressed her disbelief that someone would go to such lengths to assist her. That’s when I learned the smallest effort can make the biggest difference. It’s a lesson I lean on each day I show up here." - Doris G., Scheduling Staffing Admin #LowesLife

??? District Rating Year to Date: #1 ? Vs Plan ? ? Vs Last Year ?? "It means the world to me to see our team driving results like this. I started here over eleven years ago as a Seasonal Unloader during my senior year of high school. I’ve always been competitive and motivated to succeed, so I brought my best every day—but I had no idea this would become my career. After having a few leaders take me under their wing, I realized I had a real opportunity to grow here. And I went after it. I’ve held ten different roles on my journey to Store Manager, I’ve seen firsthand the dedication and effort that goes into every part of our store. That experience helps me deeply appreciate what each of our team members contributes. All of us raising the standard to create a culture of winning has made our store not just a top performer, but a better place to work." – Dillan G., Store Manager #LowesLife
