A proud Wildcat, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from the University of Arizona in 2001 and her Master of Education in Educational Leadership in 2014. Throughout her career, Mrs. Franklin has worn many hats, serving as Associate Principal at Tortolita, a middle and high school science teacher, interventionist, and instructional coach. Her deep commitment to student success and school community makes her a strong and compassionate leader. It was an incredible celebration of community, innovation, and the bright future ahead for our students. Guests toured modern classrooms, explored the spacious cafeteria and gym, and saw firsthand what makes this new campus so special. Greeted by mascots and live performances from Mountain View and Marana High School band students and the dance teams,? staff were pumped up for a day of learning and celebration. 12 lucky teachers won raffle prizes, including 2 hours of classroom coverage by a member of MUSD’s senior staff (yes, they’re stepping in as subs!) #MUSDthanks for helping us kick off the year with such excitement!
