We were delighted to collaborate with the newly launched interior design studio?Studio III?Creatives on the refurbishment of a striking Victorian villa in Barnes. The 7,500 sqft home underwent a three-year transformation, with Studio III overseeing all FF&E and finishes. Their brief was to create a luxurious yet timeless interior in keeping with the home’s character, something we helped bring to life through elegant soft furnishings. We supplied floor-length double pleat curtains, roman blinds, cushions, and even a reupholstered piano stool across the seven-bedroom home. Fabrics were sourced from The Colefax Group, Jane Churchill Interiors Limited, Sanderson Design Group plc. and more, with trims from Samuel & Sons to add a refined finish. “It was a pleasure to work with Sue Whimster and thrilling to see our first project in The Sunday Times!” said the Studio III team. For WOW!House 2025, Nicola Harding has has envisioned a jewel-box-inspired powder room - an opulent, intimate retreat infused with rich hues of ruby, turquoise and jade, punctuated by semi-reflective metals such as burnished brass and foxed mirror. At its centre, stands the opulent gantry, crafted in collaboration with rooms sponsor Drummonds. Drawing on Art Deco influences, the piece features custom-cast handles and is designed to suit both contemporary and traditional interiors. A space designed for a passionate collector, besotted by colour, we could not be more thrilled with the inaugural powder room. Our team had such a wonderful time exploring this year’s WOW!house at the Design Centre Chelsea Harbour, every room brought something different, and the creativity on show was second to none. From the sculptural oak leaf inspired chandelier by Cox London, to the moody glow and mirrored ceiling in the DEDAR MILANO library, there were standout moments at every turn. We loved the layered calm of the Fromental drawing room, and the velvet-lined warmth of the SHEPEL' home bar, complete with a beautiful curved marble and antique mirrorwork. And of course, stepping into the Garden Terrace by Randle Siddeley and McKinnon and Harris, Inc, with its lush planting and sculptural furniture, felt like a brief escape from London altogether.
